Fred A. Conti
Registered Principal
Fred Conti is the Managing Director of the New
England office of Financial Security Advisory,
Inc., an S.E.C. - registered investment advisory
firm. Fred's career spans thirty-five years of
financial management including fourteen years
as a member of the international accounting firm
of Price Waterhouse & Co., now PriceWaterhouseCoopers,
LLP. Following his public accounting career,
he held senior management positions with Cabot
Corporation, The Timberland Company and Harman
International, Inc. Fred's career includes several
years living abroad as Managing Director of a
European subsidiary. His broad experience has
prepared him well to serve clients in all aspects
of their financial needs including risk and investment
management, as well as tax, retirement and estate
planning.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut
and the Harvard Business School Advance Management
Program in Finance, Fred and his wife of thirty-seven
years, Ann, live in Mystic. Fred has been active
in several professional and community organizations
including as a member of the Board of the Boston
Chapter of the Financial Executives Institute,
The Connecticut Society of CPA's, as a Trustee
and Chairman of the Development Committee of
The Mystic and Noank Library, as a member of
the Advisory Board of the Avery Point Campus
of the University of Connecticut, as a Corporator
of Lawrence and Memorial Hospital and as an officer
of the Groton Long Point Yacht club. Fred spends
his spare time as an amateur viticulturist in
his backyard vineyard.
