Charles has been involved in the financial services for twenty years. He holds a BS and MS in Business and has earned Both the Certified Financial Planning and the Chartered Financial Consultant credentials and has also completed the Chartered Advisor for Senior Living credential (CASL). His career has been dedicated to furnishing a full range of professional services. He assists his clients to "maximize their wealth potential" and to "minimize their tax burdens".

Charles specializes in protecting the "nest egg" wealth of our senior citizens. He designs and implements long-term health care plans integrated with estate planning to protect family assets.

Charles enjoys helping retirees take control of their hard-earned investment plan assets to provide income and growth for their successful retirement. Helping young families with college planning; risk management; wealth accumulation; and overall financial success are primary goals of our Senior Vice President.

Charles is a Vice President of our three companies: Financial Security Group/Management/Advisory and a member of our Financial Security Advisory Investment Committee. He manages our Peninsula offices located in The Oyster Point Industrial Park in Newport News, Virginia.

Charles currently lives in York County with his wife, Susan. He is an active member of his community and has served on several boards and offices such as treasurer for his local Kiwanis Club. He enjoys boating and currently is Commodore of the Virginia Yacht Club and is a past Commodore of the Seaford Yacht Club. He provides Christian Financial education for his community and helps his clients become better Christian stewards. He also provides pre-marriage counseling for several churches.

Guy Manchester retired from the US Army after a distinguished career as an aviator and instructor. His assignments to the Army's highest levels of planning and training set the stage for his current financial philosophy. Successful programs include long-term goal setting, team building, and safety standards as part of a well-defined process. These are the hallmarks of his service today.

After numerous worldwide assignments, Guy, his wife Marie and daughter Stacy, decided that Newport News was "home". They have lived there since 1984 and are committed to being active community members.

Guy served as a member of the Newport News "City Task Force for the Future" and was the Rotary Club of Oyster Point’s “Rotarian of the Year” for 2002-2003 & 2005-2006.

Guy served as the 2007 Chairman of the Board for the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (VPCC).

Education: BA : (Suma Cum Laude) Saint. Leo University; ( Business Management), AA : (with Honors) Hudson Valley Community College (Liberal Arts).

Jessica J. Harris is one of the few second-generation financial planners in our family of Financial Security Companies. She has taken the skills learned in her successful medical career as a nuclear medicine technologist and incorporated them into helping others achieve their goals. Whether newlyweds, new parents or on their own for the first time, she assists her clients with their specific financial concerns. She builds working relationships based on honesty, integrity and trust. Coinciding with Financial Security’s dedication to continuing education, Jessica is currently pursuing her CFP ® professional designation.

Her mission statement is: To provide comprehensive financial services in an unbiased manner with honesty, integrity, and compassion with respect to financial restoration and the achievement of financial aspirations. She has a commitment to serve, educate, and protect each client financially as if you were family. Jessica lives in Poquoson with her husband, Stephen and is the proud parent of a new baby girl, Shannon and her older sister Mary Ann. She is also a member of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), the Poquoson Kiwanis and Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton, VA.
